Supply Chain structure is dynamically developed here in Cracow. Our department consists of Order Management, Order Validation, Delivery Management, Order Scheduling, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Master Data, Repair, and Quality; it is becoming a center of excellence in the global structures. Supply Chain is supporting sales processes and operations on a daily basis starting from forecasting through order scheduling and management, securing material availability up to shipping.

Job Description

 

An experienced Lean/Six Sigma professional who will lead, manage and drive continuous improvement activities throughout the Supply Chain. This leadership position is responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement and will be accountable for identifying and completing projects using Lean Six Sigma, and Project Management process improvement methodologies. Work with senior leadership, managers, supervisors, engineering, and quality teams to ensure that the Continuous Improvement program is deployed effectively ensuring initialization of continuous improvement systems and tools are used and sustained to accelerate business improvement initiatives. 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain leadership team to identify and implement projects, process improvements, increased efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • An ability to execute projects end-to-end and be able to offer key insights and present findings to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Gather and translate the voice of key stakeholders and work cross-functionally to truly understand the needs of the business and provide improvements.
  • Conduct gap analysis through surveys, workshops, and external reviews of the business.
  • Benchmark processes with competitors and strive for best in class practices and solutions.
  • Perform data mining and process mapping to address challenges in the supply chain business.
  • Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement projects.
  • Understanding of LEAN principles to drive productivity, focus on efficiency, and focus on cost containment.
  • Prepare presentations to senior leaders introducing recommendations and highlight any risks and costs associated with these changes.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to Sponsors, BB/GB candidates on the proper use of tools and improvement processes.
Basic Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in driving Lean Six Sigma (or similar) for Continuous Improvement, preferably within the Supply Chain discipline.
  • Trained and/or Certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or similar)
  • Solid communication skills – written and oral
  • Proven background in leading high-impact projects or programs, cross-functional in nature.
  • Leadership skill – ability to work well as an individual contributor and in teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
